You will find stories about all the main subjects in Yoga in this book.
It has been written with young people in mind.
Yoga is not only about using your body in certain ways to keep yourself healthy. It is also about keeping your mind and spirit in good working order, that is being healthy and happy.
Yogis like to make lists of things which affect life and living. In the contents page of the book you will find a list the Eight Limbs of Yoga. These are what you might call ‘The Basics’. All will be explained in stories. Then there are the yogic ‘Rules of Life’, called the ‘Yamas and Niyamas’.
There is a list of three ‘Ways of Being’ called the ‘Gunas’. Stories about the life of Swami Ramesh Guptananda explain all these things.
Finally you will find stories about the Chakras or ‘Energy Centres’. There is also a piece of guidance or info about each subject. Just click on the link at the bottom of each story to find out more.
